CSSF Circular 26/914: Identification of Entities Eligible for Direct AMLA Supervision

The CSSF published Circular 26/914 on 25 June 2026, specifying the identification criteria for obliged entities eligible for direct supervision by the new EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA). The circular applies to credit institutions, crypto-asset service providers, e-money institutions, investment firms, investment fund managers, and other entities with specific authorisations. Compliance officers must review their entity's eligibility and prepare for potential direct AMLA oversight.
