EP Requests Verification of ESN Party's Compliance with EU Values
The European Parliament has voted to request the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations (APPF) to verify whether the Europe of Sovereign Nations (ESN) party complies with EU values, following doubts raised by the competent authority. This is the first time this procedure has been initiated under the revised regulation on European political parties, which strengthened rules on transparency, foreign interference, and protection of European values.

Eurostat: Services Production Up 0.8% in Euro Area and EU in May 2026
In May 2026, seasonally adjusted services production rose by 0.8% in both the euro area and the EU compared with April 2026, according to Eurostat first estimates. On an annual basis, services production increased by 2.4% in both areas. Real estate activities and professional, scientific and technical activities drove the monthly growth.
