CSSF Quarterly Statistics: Net Assets Rise to €6.73 Trillion, UCI Numbers Fall
The CSSF published its quarterly statistics on Luxembourg UCIs as at 30 June 2026. Net assets rose to €6,731.3 billion, while the number of undertakings for collective investment (UCIs) fell to 2,968. The data reflects continued consolidation and asset growth across UCITS, Part II UCIs, SIFs, and SICARs.

CSSF Launches ESMA Common Supervisory Action on Risk Management Function for Luxembourg IFMs
On 27 July 2026, the CSSF announced the launch of an ESMA Common Supervisory Action (CSA) focusing on the risk management function of UCITS Management Companies and authorised Alternative Investment Fund Managers (IFMs) in Luxembourg. A sample of Luxembourg-based IFMs received a questionnaire covering governance, risk identification and monitoring, and reporting to senior management. Responses must be submitted via the CSSF eDesk Portal once the relevant section becomes available.
