ECB Publishes Indicative Operational Calendars for 2028
The European Central Bank (ECB) has released indicative calendars for the Eurosystem's regular tender operations and reserve maintenance periods for 2028. The calendars outline the schedule for main refinancing operations (MROs) and three-month longer-term refinancing operations (LTROs), as well as the corresponding reserve maintenance periods linked to Governing Council meetings.

ECB extends climate factor application to non-financial corporate credit claims
The ECB Governing Council has decided to extend the use of climate factors in the Eurosystem collateral framework to eligible non-financial corporate credit claims. This measure introduces a haircut based on climate transition risk, with a maximum additional reduction of 5%. Implementation is expected by end-2027 at the earliest, with annual updates.
