AMF Updates Its Doctrine for UCITS and AIF Depositaries
The AMF has updated Instruction DOC-2016-01 for depositaries of UCITS and AIFs following the homologation of amendments to its General Regulation. Depositaries must now inform the AMF each quarter of any significant anomaly or irregularity already resolved during that quarter, and use the newly annexed reporting template. The accompanying depositary guide has also been updated.

AMF notified of benchmarks exceeding EUR 50bn threshold under BMR
The AMF has been notified by Euronext Paris and Epex Spot, as benchmark administrators, that certain indices they administer have reached the EUR 50 billion threshold. Under Article 24 of the EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR), these indices are now classified as significant benchmarks, and the AMF, together with ESMA, will update the European register accordingly.

AMF publish report on major DORA incidents reported in 2025
On 24 September 2026, the AMF published a report analysing major ICT incidents reported in 2025 under DORA. The report provides supervisory insights into operational disruptions affecting financial-sector entities and highlights practical lessons for ICT risk management, incident classification, notification and operational resilience. While it does not introduce new obligations or deadlines, it provides useful supervisory evidence for firms reviewing their DORA incident-management frameworks.

AMF, ACPR and France FinTech Announce Sixth French FinTech Weeks
France FinTech, the ACPR and the AMF have announced the programme for the sixth edition of the French FinTech Weeks, to be held from 29 September to 16 October 2026 in Paris, Toulouse, Lyon, Nice and online. The initiative brings together fintech entrepreneurs, supervisors, law firms, universities and innovation hubs to foster dialogue, share best practices and support partnerships. The organisers highlight an ecosystem now comprising more than 1,200 companies, 55,000 jobs, 15 unicorns and two stock market listings.
