CSSF Launches ESMA Common Supervisory Action on Risk Management Function for Luxembourg IFMs
On 27 July 2026, the CSSF announced the launch of an ESMA Common Supervisory Action (CSA) focusing on the risk management function of UCITS Management Companies and authorised Alternative Investment Fund Managers (IFMs) in Luxembourg. A sample of Luxembourg-based IFMs received a questionnaire covering governance, risk identification and monitoring, and reporting to senior management. Responses must be submitted via the CSSF eDesk Portal once the relevant section becomes available.

CSSF Updates Application Form for UCI Depositary Authorisation
The Luxembourg financial regulator CSSF has published version 3.3 of the application form for administrative authorisation to act as a UCI depositary. The form is relevant for credit institutions, investment firms, and specialised professionals of the financial sector (PFS). All applicants must use the updated version for new submissions.
