The EBA advises on targeted simplifications to Taxonomy disclosures
On 29 October 2026, the EBA issued technical advice to the European Commission recommending targeted changes to Taxonomy disclosures. Proposals include removing certain KPIs, simplifying investment firms’ reporting and improving group-level disclosures and GAR templates. The advice will inform the Commission’s review but does not yet change existing reporting obligations.

EBA Publishes Final Report Amending RTS on Prudential Requirements for CSDs
The EBA published a Final Report proposing draft amendments to the Regulatory Technical Standards on prudential requirements for central securities depositories (CSDs) and designated credit institutions providing banking-type ancillary services. The amendments respond primarily to the CSDR 'Refit', which now allows banking CSDs to offer banking-type ancillary services to other CSDs, and are designed to prevent increased interconnectedness from raising systemic risk. The draft RTS also align references with recent changes to the Capital Requirements Regulation and the amended CSDR text.
