Eurostat: Retail Trade Volume Down 0.3% in Euro Area in June 2026
Eurostat's first estimate shows retail trade volume fell by 0.3% in the euro area and 0.1% in the EU in June 2026 compared with May 2026. Year-on-year, retail trade rose by 0.7% in the euro area and 1.2% in the EU. The declines were broad-based across food and non-food sectors, with notable variations across Member States.
