FSMA Retail Investor Dashboard: Investor activity falls slightly in Q2 2026
The FSMA has published a new edition of its Retail Investor Dashboard covering the first and second quarters of 2026. The number of active retail investors decreased slightly in Q2 2026 across shares, ETFs and bonds, partly due to seasonal effects. Despite the quarterly decline, the annual number of active investors continued to rise in 2025, with ETFs attracting younger investors.

FSMA Announces Reopening of Trading in BNB/NBB Financial Instruments on Euronext Brussels
The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) announced that trading in the financial instruments of Banque nationale de Belgique/Nationale Bank van België (BNB/NBB), ISIN BE0003008019, will reopen on Euronext Brussels on 3 September 2026 at 14:00 CET. The reopening follows a suspension announced the previous day, issued under Article 78 of the Law of 21 November 2017. Market participants should verify operational readiness for resumption of trading.

Press release on the suspension of trading in Banque nationale de Belgique/Nationale bank van België (BNB/NBB)
The FSMA suspended trading in the National Bank of Belgium's financial instruments on Euronext Brussels from 9:00 CET on 2 September 2026, pending the publication of a press release. Trading was subsequently reopened on 3 September.
