CCB and Federal Judicial Police Strengthen Collaboration Against Phishing
The Belgian Centre for Cybersecurity (CCB) has announced a strengthened collaboration with the Federal Judicial Police to counter phishing through the integration of the PhishNemo tool into the Belgian Anti-Phishing Shield (BAPS). This partnership enables earlier detection and blocking of malicious domains at DNS level, building on the 2025 results of nearly 200 million prevented clicks. No new legal obligations are introduced, but the operational defence against phishing campaigns is significantly reinforced.

Cyber Resilience Act: EU reporting obligation enters into force
From 11 September 2026, manufacturers of products with digital elements must report actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe product security incidents through ENISA's single reporting platform. Belgium's CCB, acting as national CSIRT, will process notifications addressed to Belgium and forward them to other competent authorities. Reporting follows a 24-hour early warning, 72-hour notification and final report sequence.
