EBA Publishes Updated Taxonomy for AMLA 2027 Risk Assessment Data Collection
The European Banking Authority (EBA) has released version 4.3 of its reporting framework, including an updated data model and taxonomy to support AMLA's 2027 risk assessment of entities eligible for direct supervision. This version is for preparatory purposes only and must not be used for submissions. A further release (v4.4) is expected in September 2026, adding new data points and improving handling of unavailable information.

AMLA launches survey on Central Contact Points for EMIs and PSPs
AMLA has launched a survey inviting Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to share operational experiences with the current Central Contact Point (CCP) framework under Article 45(9) AMLD and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/1108. Feedback will inform AMLA's preparatory work on a future Regulatory Technical Standard under Article 41(2) AMLD and will be summarised in a published report. The survey is open until 15 September 2026.

EBA Publishes Draft Reporting Framework for AMLA 2027 Eligibility Data Collection
The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published a public working draft of the data model and taxonomy supporting the 2027 eligibility data collection for direct supervision by AMLA. The data will be collected in early 2027 from obliged entities provisionally eligible in 2026 to confirm they still meet the criteria as of 31 December 2026. Comments are open until 24 August 2026.

AMLA Publishes FAQ on Reporting Package for Provisionally Eligible Entities
AMLA has released a document answering frequently asked questions about the reporting package for identifying provisionally eligible obliged entities for direct supervision. The FAQ supports reporting entities and national supervisors with operational clarifications and practical implementation issues.
