Event Information
Pideeco co-hosted the event of ESTIEM. The purpose was to define which Belgian team would go to the final competition in Porto, Portugal. The different teams presented to the jury their approaches. They were asked to develop the “Bank of the future” from scratch. Some of them even accomplished to develop a risk-based matrix that would work in defining the AML risk for financial institutions of today. The evaluation of the teams was challenging and the points for each team was very close to each other. The top three teams were announced, in the end of the process.
ESTIEM is the organization for European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, who combine technological understanding with management skills. Their goal is to establish and foster relations between students.
