Please read this Privacy Policy before visiting pideeco.be (“Website”) and start using our Services. The Services are provided by Pideeco bv (“Pideeco”). Pideeco intends for the Website to complement the Services that the firm provides. Our Headquarter is located at 137 Louise Avenue, Box 12, 1050 Brussels, Ixelles, Belgium.

This statement, set forth below, is the Privacy Policy of Pideeco. A description is made of our practices and how the privacy of all visitors of the Website is respected. Pideeco focuses on practices that are designed to protect your privacy. The protection of your data is a significant matter for us and this is the reason why Pideeco wants to ensure that all visitors are aware that personal data are not collected from this website, without visitor’s consent and that this Website does not obtain data from third parties. Please have regard to our Policy below for more details.

What are personal data?

According to article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), “personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. Registration

Registration is not required in order to use the Website. If you are only a visitor, we do not collect any data about you.

Visitors can subscribe on their own initiative and clearly consent to provide contact details (i.e. email address) in order to explicitly subscribe to newsletters and particular services and receive ongoing updates from Pideeco. Only in this case, Pideeco may contact registrants to invite them to special events and provide them with information about its services, publications and products.

Please note that the information required for the registration is the minimum possible and this website does not request more than that information, in any case.

Data protection

Pideeco has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures for the data it controls . Information, collected at registration, is protected using industry-standard encryption technology. For example, you may choose to follow a specific program or questionnaire where your consent would be asked to register your personal email in order to access the program. You and your data are not subject to any type of automated decision , we do not process any personal data and for any action that may need to be taken (i.e. for the execution of your contract), your consent is required.

Pideeco is responsible for the safe retention of your data and has implemented appropriate data protection policies, like this one. The firm is always in cooperation with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (see: Data Protection Authority (DPA) ) and it has the legal obligation to notify the authority in the case of a personal data breach not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it or later if there are reasons for this delay, explained in the notification.

In case of data breach that may have a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the relevant person, Pideeco will communicate the incident to him/her without undue delay and in a clear way. Exceptions on this rule exist, for example when the communication would involve disproportionate effort or the threat is not possible anymore to materialize, because appropriate measures were taken.

The user of this website has the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, if he/she believes that there is infringement of their rights.

Unsubscribe

If you have created an account under this Website, and you do not wish to be registered anymore, you have the right and possibility to withdraw any consent and delete your account in the specific section, anytime. It is as easy to withdraw as to give consent. Your data will be deleted without undue delay. If you want to contact Pideeco regarding any queries or request more details from our Privacy Policy, you can send an email to privacy@pideeco.be. Our professionals will verify your identity, and request additional information from you, if necessary . We will revert to you without undue delay and maximum within one month after reception of your demand. Pideeco wants to protect all the visitors of its Website and all its subscribers and thus does not reply to emails without first verify the identity of the sender . The information may also be provided orally, if the identity of the client is verified.

The period of answering your request can be extended by 2 months, if necessary and you will be duly informed for the reason of this delay .

Pideeco provides this information free of charge . If your requests are unfounded or excessive in the sense that they are repetitive or abusive, we may charge a fee for this request or refuse to answer, as provided by the law.

Platforms

In general, platforms are accessible to three different types of users: Visitors, Standard Users and Premium Users.

Visitors have limited access to platforms ‘features (i.e. basic information of PEP platform) without the need of any subscription. Two types of registered users: Standard Users must register a free account in this Website in order to have access to extended features of the platforms. Premium Users have access to the full extension of the distributed platforms after validation of their subscription by Pideeco. To become a Premium user 2 conditions have to be met: sign peculiar contractual agreement for each platform; be a validated professional in the sector related to the platform.

Misuse

Don’t misuse our Website. For example, don’t interfere with our Website or try to access it using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide. You may use this Website only as permitted by law.

  1. Intellectual Property Rights

Using our Website does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the content you access. All content included in or made available through this Website, such as text, logos, images, digital downloads or any other material is property of Pideeco and is protected by the Belgian legal framework . You may not use content from our Website unless you obtain explicit permission from Pideeco. Pideeco reserves the right to refuse permission.
